Joseph is a renowned Human Capital expert in the African Region. Having led Human Resources function in the banking, Public and NGO sectors in various leading organizations, he brings in value and innovative approaches to all the Clients who seek critical human capital interventions especially in change management and Institutional designs. He is a certified DDI (UK)(Development Dimensions International) Competency Based Recruiter, A Job Evaluation expert with Mercer Systems, a certified ISO 2001:9000 Quality Management Auditor (SGS), performance management expert and a consultant on labour matters in the region. He has a rich experience in East and Southern Africa region, West Africa and Central Africa. He has also trained in Public Policy at Strathmore Business School.
He has worked as HR Advisor for Africa for WWF International, Human Resources Manager (Training and Organization Development) for Kenya Wildlife Service, HR Manager for K-Rep Bank and HR& A Manager Comtec Training and Management Services. He is currently the Director, Public Service Commission, responsible for Management Consultancy Services.
He has worked as a Human Resources consultant for UNDP and UNON attached to the Government of Kenya, where he led the HR Strategic framework for Independent Police Oversight Authority, and National Police Service Commission. He is an associate Consultant with Kenya Institute of Management, Human Capital Consultants, Competence Development Centre, a Partner with Human Asset Consultant.
Joseph holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Development, a Higher Diploma in Human Resources and an Undergraduate in Sociology. He is bilingual (English/French) and is currently consulting with an International NGO (WWF International).He has attended various professional trainings in Human Capital, Leadership and Strategic Management, performance management, Change Management and is 2013 chairperson of Africa HR Forum in South Africa.
